Experience the Majesty: Activities at the Cliffs of Moher
Wake up just moments away from Ireland’s most iconic natural landmark. Our B&B is perfectly positioned only 4 miles (a quick 8-minute drive) from the Cliffs of Moher, allowing you to beat the tour buses and witness the sunrise over the Atlantic or catch a breathtaking sunset without the long commute back to the city.
After a day spent exploring the bracing cliff-edge paths and O'Brien's Tower, you can be back in the comfort of your room in under ten minutes. Whether you’re here for the world-class birdwatching or the sheer scale of the 214-meter precipice, we provide the ideal "home base" for your coastal adventure.
What to Expect
Prepare for a sensory overload. You’ll hear the roar of the Atlantic crashing against 300-million-year-old rock and see the Aran Islands shimmering in the distance.
- Wildlife: Look out for the "Magnificent Seven" protected bird species. Between April and July, you can spot Atlantic Puffins nesting on Goat Island.
- The Terrain: The main "Experience" area features 800 meters of safe, paved pathways. Beyond this, the terrain becomes more rugged and windswept.
- The Weather: This is the edge of Ireland. Expect sun, rain, and wind all in the same hour. Note: Umbrellas are useless here—bring a sturdy waterproof jacket instead!
Opening Hours (2026)

- O'Brien's Tower: Climb to the highest point of the cliffs for a panoramic view that, on a clear day, stretches to the mountains of Kerry.
